1. Food is an essential thing to all humankind. For that matter MokDah is very particular on the quality of food that I eat, the cleanliness and of cause the quality of service.
2. Last weekend, MokDah was having dinner in one of the so call famous restaurant in Kuantan, there are many people at the outlet and we have to wait for quite sometime for the food to arrive.
3. Finally when the food arrived I was so socked and upset over everything, from the way the food was served to us, the way the food was prepared and the way the waiter spoke to us.
4. The waiter came in a hurry, just throw the plate with the fried squid and fried prawn on the table and have the guts to tell us that they have serve us both in the squid and prawn in the same plate, in fact it was fried together.
5. I was shocked to hear and see this is happening and lost my appetite further when the fried squid and prawn was soggy and not crispy at all.
6. While my colleagues goes on eating, I keep looking around and wondering why does these people accept such crap food and service here. People comes and go, flogging the restaurant.
7. Come-on customers, we are paying for the food and why do we allow such standard to happen. Than I realised, Malaysian on the whole are not fussy and particular and they do not exercised their rights as consumers.

8. Than MokDah thought about another out-let at Subang Parade where once the restaurant was serving excellent Japanese food. But now MokDah notice, especially the choice of food and its serving are not as interesting as when it first started.
9. The pictures of the food in the menu looks far much better than the actual food being served. Not just that, the serving are very much small in portion compared to the one in the Menu.
10. MokDah told this friend of mine, this is deceiving and ethics not right. We are some sort being cheated with the picture. MokDah tried to speak with the supervisor, but no luck on two occasion as I was told, either he is not around or he comes in late.
11. Another encounter, is when MokDah had lunch at Empire Court. Thought we would like to just take bread and curry, to keep our diet but to our great surprise we were serve with an expired curry (with squirming curry fleas - and we only realised it after eating them and another colleague just about to start eating). At first we thought it was just poppy seed (kas-kas) and continue eating until finish. All we got when we ask the waiter to take it away and show to the chef, is free of charge and no compensation was offered.
12.The funny thing, we too do not exercise or demand our right, but being Malaysian very forgiving we just love over it and until now it became a joke to us.
13. If we were in other countries, when the consumer exercise their rights, either we would be compensated with another meal at least or if the case is being brought to consumer's tribunal, we would have good got thousands of dollars as compensation.
14. Anyway, it is common in the food serve by many outlets in Malaysia to find all sorts of unwanted alien in the food such as cockroaches, lizards, hair (do no what kind of hair?). @30.12.2014
